Palangka Raya – Ketua Pimpinan Daerah Kesatuan Mahasiswa Hindu Dharma Indonesia (PD KMHDI) Kalimantan Tengah menegaskan bahwa peran DPR, baik di tingkat pusat maupun daerah, sangat penting dalam memperjuangkan kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik.
Menurut Juprianto Ketua PD KMHDI KALTENG tenaga pendidik adalah garda terdepan dalam mencetak generasi bangsa yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan siap menghadapi tantangan zaman.01/09/2025
“Pemerintah sudah banyak berbicara tentang peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, tapi hal itu akan sulit terwujud jika kesejahteraan tenaga pendidik masih terabaikan. DPR harus lebih lantang menyuarakan aspirasi para guru dan dosen, terutama terkait kepastian status, penghasilan yang layak, serta fasilitas penunjang kerja mereka,” tegas Juprianto Ketua PD KMHDI Kalteng.

Ia juga menyoroti kondisi banyak tenaga pendidik honorer diKalimantan Tengah yang masih menerima gaji di bawah standar kebutuhan hidup layak. Hal ini, menurutnya, bukan hanya merugikan tenaga pendidik, tetapi juga berdampak langsung pada kualitas pendidikan di daerah.
“Jika tenaga pendidik sejahtera, maka mereka akan lebih fokus dan bersemangat dalam menjalankan tugas mulianya. Pendidikan yang berkualitas tidak bisa lahir dari tenaga pendidik yang masih berjuang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari,” lanjutnya.
Juprianto Ketua PD KMHDI Kalteng mendorong DPRD Kalimantan Tengah bersama DPR RI untuk memastikan kebijakan afirmatif dalam anggaran pendidikan yang benar-benar menyentuh kesejahteraan guru dan dosen. Dengan begitu, cita-cita mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa sesuai amanat UUD 1945 bisa terwujud dengan nyata.
